THURSDAY 2 JULY 2026

Rockman Race Briefing / Live Chat - we host the last LIVE session (broadcasted on social media as well) to give athletes the chance to learn more about the Rockman Swimrun, interact with the race directors, and ask questions. It will be packed with valuable information about the course, logistics, cutoffs, and what to expect on race day. If you're racing 2026 edition, this is a must-join-and-watch!

Friday 3 July 2026

11:00–12:00 - Swimrun Shakeout

Start race weekend the best way possible by joining us for an easy social swimrun around Stavanger.

Hosted by Team Envol this relaxed session covers approximately 6 km at a conversational pace and is open to athletes of all distances. It's a great opportunity to loosen the legs, test your gear, meet fellow competitors, and calm those pre-race nerves.

Come ready to swimrun in your wetsuit, or if you'd rather stay dry, simply join us in your running gear and skip the swim sections. Either way, you'll get to experience the Rockman community before race day.

One of your hosts will be Thor Hesselberg, Race Director of Rockman since 2016, along with members of Team Envol.

No registration is required. Just show up ready to have fun.

16:00–18:00 - Athlete Checkin (Mandatory)

Bib pickup and athlete check-in will take place at Magasin Blå, located in the heart of Stavanger.

Magasin Blå is located directly next to Fiskepiren, the ferry departure point for race morning. We encourage athletes to take a few minutes to familiarize themselves with the area, including the ferry boarding location and nearby facilities, while attending check-in.

Please plan accordingly, as race packets will not be distributed on race morning.

09:00 - Ferry depart 20K and 10K Course near Stavanger-Vassøy ferge
12:00 - Race Start 20K Course - Ferry Jump outside Bakken Kai
13:00 - Race Start 10K Course - Ferry Jump outside Flørli
13:00 - Cut-off at Bratteli
15:30 - Cut-off before starting the Fjordcrossing swim
16:00 - Cut-off before starting stairs at Flørli
19:00 - Rockman Finisher Party - Flørli
20:30 - Depart Rockman “Love Boat” back to Stavanger (arrive approx 22:00)
