Getting to Stavanger City Center from Stavanger Airport (SVG)

Taxis are available just outside the terminal. The ride to the city center takes approximately 20–30 minutes and typically costs 500–600 NOK.
By Bus – Flybussen Airport Shuttle
Frequent departures to Stavanger city center. Tickets can be purchased online at flybussen.no or directly on board.
Car Rental
Several car rental companies are located at the airport if you prefer to drive (not recommended as parting in Stavanger is not the best).

Mandatory for all participants and all race distances.
Recommended Accommodations
We recommend staying in Stavanger the night before and after the race. Stavanger offers a wide range of hotels and accommodations within easy access of race logistics and ferry departures.
Race Day Logistics – 40K Course
Ferry Departure
04:55 sharp
Boarding opens at 04:50. Please do not arrive earlier, as race crew will arrive at 04:50.
Drop Bag
Each team may bring one small drop bag, to be handed over at ferry departure and transported to the finish line.
Drop bags should contain only post-race essentials such as:
Dry clothes
Warm layers
Personal items
Bag size must be limited to approximately airline carry-on size.
⚠️ No additional bags or large luggage will be accepted.
Race Day Logistics – 20K & 10K Courses
Ferry Departure
09:00 sharp
The ferry is expected to return at approximately 08:45.
Please note: Departure timing remains tentative and may be adjusted.
